Who's your favourite character in the series?

Mine Daenerys, of course. I can't believe I got the new on Jaedenar either. It was like a miracle!

So, how about you guys? Who's your favourite?

I like Arya in the beginning, but I'm not sure how I'm liking exact how she's turning out. What is it that makes her your favourite?

Yeah lol. She's the one who makes me remember Valar Morghulis before hearing of the guild. I haven't read 4th book yet, so i might change my mind.

And i keep a little special place for Jon too

Aww... You should definitely pick it up and read it. Though, I must say I'd have to agree with most everyone; the fourth book was definitely not Martin's best work, and kind of let down.

I'm eagerly awaiting the next book. Soon, fingers crossed, soon. But, that said, I'm so afraid that he's going to croak before he can finish the series.

And yes, Jon definitely has a place with me as well. Smile

favorite character: Tyrion Lannister (The Imp)... 4 words...WHAT A BAD ASS...

After reading the 4th book, I also found it to be a bit disappointing. However, I personally am enjoying the direction that Martin is taking Arya Stark's (Cat of the Canals) character. I think it gives more of a meaning to her as a stand alone figure in the series. That is the one thing that I really did enjoy about book 4...the character development of people such as Arya, Sam, Jamie and Brianne...you begin to understand their connection and purpose to the world a bit more. Again, disappointed that Tyrion wasn't in it, but w/e!

Daisy I can see why you like Dany (I am assuming you like her because she is such a strong feminine lead) but don't you find her a tad on the annoying side?

Jon Snow in my opinion is almost too much of a stereo typical hero that stumbles upon victory. He reminds me of Harry Potter and that kind of irks me a little. Who knows, maybe his character will grow on me!

Last of all, I am VERY interested to see what Martin does with Bran. He left him in a very exciting part...rediscovery of magic perhaps with the children of the forest? (just an idea)

Anyways, can't wait for book 5!

Tyrion is great. Though I don't think I'd call him a true bad ass, he has some nice qualities. This is Mark's favourite character as well.

Dany... I can't say I really find her on the annoying side. I'd really like to see more of her, and find out where Martin is taking her. Plus, with that many sex scenes, who could not like Dany. Wink

Jon Snow as Harry Potter? Hrm... That's interesting. Not something I can say that I felt myself, but I can see why you might feel that way.

I can't say I'm overly fussy on Bran. I'd like to see where Martin is taking him yes, but I'm not overly fussy on his character.

Ugh.... I can't wait for the 5th book either. It should have been out by now. >.<

I don't want to give my opinion about Tyrion, I think he is really too much like me (in his head, of course). That almost come to ask if I love myself Twisted Evil
